With classic Porsche vehicles, oil-moist engines, oil drops underneath the car, or minor oil leaks are technically not uncommon. The cause is usually aged seals – in many assemblies, these include shaft seals and O-rings. In particular, polymer-based seals lose their elasticity over the years and no longer provide a proper seal.
With LecWec, you can restore the functionality of these seals directly during operation without opening the engine or interfering with the vehicle’s original components.
✓Oil Stop Leak for classic Porsche engines
✓Targets shaft seals and O-rings specifically
✓Oil sealant without chlorine
✓Seal leaks without disassembly or removal
Classic Porsche engines use different sealing systems: shaft seals and O-rings made from polymer materials as well as cork, paper, and flat gaskets. Polymer-based seals lose their plasticizers over time due to heat, aging, and long periods without operation. They become hard, shrink, and lose their sealing performance. This is exactly where LecWec takes effect during normal operation.
After being added, LecWec circulates through the oil system and reaches all relevant sealing points. The active formula is absorbed by the polymer seals and helps restore their original properties. The material becomes flexible again and fits tightly against the sealing surfaces. This closes the typical leakage gaps found at shaft seals and O-rings.
Important in practical use: LecWec does not work on cork or paper gaskets, but it can reduce leaks when the main leakage originates from polymer sealing points. In these cases, the sealing performance of the existing components is restored without dismantling the engine or altering the vehicle’s original substance.
"I have to report positively that the level matches the oil... unbelievable. [...] I wouldn’t have believed that the steering gearbox would be sealed again after just under a week."

"...nothing was leaking anymore!!!
I am truly very satisfied. At first, I did not believe the product would work, but now I am completely convinced and also saved many hundreds of euros!"

Oil leak at the cylinder base gasket
Verified review (Learn more)"I did not believe it at first, but your product is excellent! [...] I ordered just one can and everything is sealed already, even though you recommend 2 cans, meaning 200 ml, for 6 liters of oil. Many thanks!"

Oil leak problems at the oil flange gasket
Verified review (Learn more)"...which made it even more satisfying when, after around 3 weeks, I noticed that the oil loss had gone down to zero – the steering rack was sealed again!! Even now, after 4 months, the reservoir is still at the maximum level."

Oil leak at the steering rack
Verified review (Learn more)"There was always a small puddle of oil collecting underneath the vehicle. I added 100 ml of LecWec to around 4 liters of oil. Since then, I have driven many miles and was surprised to find that there was no more oil on the ground at all."

Leak at the oil pan
Identify the leak location precisely
Typical leak points are crankshaft seals, oil return tubes, and valve covers. Clean the engine thoroughly and inspect where the oil film appears after a short drive.
Differentiate the seal type
On Porsche classic engines, shaft seals and O-rings are the relevant sealing components for LecWec. Cork and paper gaskets react only minimally. Evaluate the exact source of the leak carefully.
Consider long storage periods
Many leaks occur after long periods of inactivity. Seals dry out and lose their elasticity. In many cases, normal operation alone is no longer sufficient.
Avoid unnecessary disassembly
Opening a classic Porsche engine always carries a risk for tolerances and original components. Treat the system first before considering mechanical disassembly.
Use LecWec correctly and monitor the results
Use a dosage of 3% of the total oil volume and drive the engine regularly. Monitor the sealing points carefully. In many cases, oil leaks at shaft seals are significantly reduced or completely stopped.
