LecWec has been the oil leak stop additive since 1995

In every industrial facility, in every company, there are hydraulic systems, compressors, and vehicles with an oil circuit. Often, large quantities of oil circulate within them. And in most cases, polymer-based oil seals are used. When they start to leak, it is not only a major inconvenience, but also causes costs due to repairs and machine downtime.

Since 1995, there has been one solution for all leaking seals in engines, gearboxes, differentials, power steering systems, all machines, and hydraulic systems: with LecWec Oil Leak Stop, all oil types and all oil systems can be sealed again with a success rate of almost 100%. This can be done during operation.

LecWec, as an oil leak stop, is a universal product for seals that have become leaky. It conditions every polymer-based seal and protects against drying out, hardening, shrinkage, and crystal formation.

Only 3% of the total oil quantity.

LecWec is chlorine-free.

It happened even faster than I expected.

"I have to report positively that the level matches the oil... unbelievable. [...] I wouldn’t have believed that the steering gearbox would be sealed again after just under a week."

"...nothing else leaked out anymore!!! I am truly very satisfied. At first, I didn’t think the product would work, but now I am completely convinced and have also saved many hundreds of euros!" - Jürgen R.

"I didn’t believe it, but your product is fantastic! I have an old BMW e39 with the typical oil leak problem at the oil flange gasket. I first ordered just 1 can and everything is already sealed, even though you recommend 2 cans (200 ml) for 6 liters of oil. So thank you very much!" - Andreas F.

"My steering gearbox was losing so much power steering oil (about 1 liter over 14,000 km, or within 5 months, which equals the total oil volume!) that I wouldn’t have passed the TÜV inspection, and an extensive and therefore costly repair was ahead. Fortunately, I came across LecWec. When oil was still leaking after a week, I was initially disappointed, but I added a little more of the fluid. All the more pleased I was when, after about 3 weeks, I found that the oil loss had dropped to zero – the steering gearbox was sealed again!! Even after 4 months, the reservoir is still at maximum – I’m thrilled, thank you very much!" - Friedger F.

"A small puddle of oil had always collected on the underbody and then dripped onto the garage floor. I added 100 ml of LecWec to about 4 liters of oil. Since then, I have driven around 500 km and was amazed to find that there was no oil on the ground anymore. Yesterday, I removed the underbody panel and the engine compartment was completely clean, with no traces of oil at all. I would therefore like to thank you very much – the repair at Audi would have cost me €1,500!! " - Paul R.

Questions and Answers about LecWec

How does LecWec Oil Stop work?
Replacing a leaking oil seal is generally not an inexpensive repair. If the unit itself has to be replaced, it becomes even more costly. But since 1995, there has been “LecWec”, a permanent repair for polymer oil seals without dismantling or replacement, without time and cost expenditure. LecWec is worthwhile not only for vehicles, but for all oil systems and all oil types (including vegetable oils). Polymer oil seals lose their plasticizers over time, become brittle, and shrink. LecWec impregnates the seal and replaces the lost plasticizers. The seal becomes elastic again and swells slightly, just enough to compensate for possible wear on the sealing lip.
3What about seals made of cork, paper, metal, and polymer seals?
LecWec is only conditionally effective for seals made of cork, paper, and metal, as well as for polymer seals that are mechanically damaged (which occurs very rarely).
3Can LecWec stop engine oil leaks?
If the oil leak in the engine is caused by leaking seals, LecWec stops this oil leak with an almost 100% success rate.
3Does LecWec also work as a transmission oil leak stop?
LecWec also works for transmission oil leaks.
How long does it take for LecWec to work as an engine oil stop?
LecWec is not to be understood as an “instant product.” Products that use solvents to make seals swell more quickly can severely damage the internal structure of the seals. LecWec, on the other hand, has a longer exposure time. In some cases, full sealing effect can already be restored after 200 kilometers, while for other seals it may take several days. However, the effect then lasts for years. Because seal polymers are structured very differently, the time until LecWec reaches its full effect varies.
3Does LecWec also help as an oil leak stop for older vehicles?
Yes, LecWec also helps with older vehicles. In older vehicles, LecWec can also be used preventively. For this, use half the dosage, which is 1.5% of the oil volume.
4Does LecWec also help with leaking fork seals (e.g. motorcycle fork)?
Fork seals are usually made of metal, therefore LecWec unfortunately has no effect there.
4Does LecWec also help with a motorcycle wet clutch (e.g. Kawasaki ZZR 1200)?
Yes, LecWec is also suitable for motorcycle wet clutches.
